We are a club which exists to serve those who unicycle, juggle, and/or do poi, staff or the likes (including those who like to light said items on fire first) as well as teaching newcomers how to do so in a safe environment. We are affiliated with the University of Canterbury Student's Association (UCSA) which gives us access to their facilities (plus the option to get grants from them), but there is no requirement to be a university student before you can join. We have plenty of club equipment for you to borrow, and many of our members bring their own personal equipment along and share it also.
We are now meeting in the UCSA ballroom from 7pm on a Tuesday night. The next such meeting will be on the 22th of June.
If you are unsure where any of the locations we regularly meet at are, click here to see them marked in Google Maps. Note that the UCSA carpark, immediately below the ballroom on the map, is free to park in after 5pm.
Although we are a university-based club, there is no requirement to be a student to be able to join. We charge a $5 membership fee to offset the costs of buying and maintaining the club equipment. To join, simply turn up to one of our meetings and see one of the committee members.
The following people form the Unisoc committee which is responsible for the running of the club:
